HIDE Kit contents

A Complete Kit

1. Safety Key

A stainless steel tool to enable the installed HIDE lid to be safely and easily opened/closed. Kits 40mm in depth have two keys.

2. Infill Cover

This 316 stainless steel cover holds the inlay (landscape) materials you’ve chosen, e.g. tile, paver, concrete, decking, etc.

3. Frame

This stainless steel frame is installed flush with the surface of your landscaped area. It protects the coping/surrounds from chipping/breakage when the inlay lid is opened/closed.

4. Height Adjuster

The installer can use this 2 mm thick perspex insert to add thickness to your inlay. This ‘packer’, combined with two layers of adhesive, can provide up to 8mm extra height if the inlay material is not thick enough to achieve a flush finish on the top of the inlay lid.

5. Adhesive

A specially formulated adhesive for bonding your inlay material to the stainless steel.
