RESPECT THE KEY

Wielding the HIDE Safety Key is a powerful thing :)

The HIDE Safety Key is designed to open and close the lid, protect children from accessing the recess, and ensures 100% pool safety (when used correctly with a HIDE Skimmer Cover).

But there is one thing the Safety Key shouldn’t do, and that’s carry the full weight of the HIDE lid.

The power is in your hands – engage those muscles to carry the lid, not the key.

Child Safe Tips!

Because HIDE skimmer pool safety hinges on the Safety Key, be sure to use your smarts when opening and closing the lid.

Don't leave HIDE Safety Key inside Cover when not using.

Keep them seperated

NEVER leave the HIDE Safety Key in the lid for any reason. The key is not specified or designed to remain in the lid. If left in the lid it creates an unsafe environment for children.

Child Safe Locked

Store Safety Key securely

ALWAYS store the HIDE Safety Key out of reach of children, in a secure, childproof location. Return to safe storage after use.

Child safe access

Safe access

DO NOT leave nearby children unattended while the HIDE lid is removed. Actively discourage children from playing in or near the HIDE access area.

Keep away from children and child's fingers

Ban little fingers

NEVER allow children to operate the HIDE Safety Key or the lid itself. This is a job for adults!

Weight Considerations

Understanding load capacities and best practices for lifting.

When lifting a HIDE Cover, it's essential to consider your personal strength and comfort levels. Always ensure you are lifting a weight that feels manageable to you. To protect your back, adopt proper lifting techniques: keep your back straight, bend at your knees, and lift using the strength of your legs. Prioritise safety by taking all necessary precautions to prevent injury.

Routine Maintenance

To maintain your HIDE Cover's stainless steel components in optimal condition, consider the following care tips:

  • Rinse the stainless steel parts with clean, fresh water frequently to remove debris and reduce the effects of pool chemicals.
  • Do not use bleach or acidic cleaners, as they can damage the protective layer of stainless steel, leading to corrosion.
  • Opt for soft cloths or sponges when cleaning to prevent surface scratches. Avoid abrasive materials like steel wool.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure the longevity and appearance of your HIDE Cover's stainless steel elements.
