Why Can't I Select All Sizes?

Some sizes and depths are visible but cannot yet be selected in Europe.

These variants are available in Australia but are not yet active in our European range. We're introducing sizes based on confirmed project demand — and your input directly shapes what we bring to market next.

If you're a builder, architect, specifier, or distributor with a recurring need for a size that's currently unavailable, we'd love to hear from you.

This is for trade and project enquiries only — we're looking to partner with professionals with ongoing or project-based requirements.

Care Guide

Maintenance is required.

Regular Cleaning: Clean and rinse the stainless steel parts with clean, fresh water frequently to remove debris and reduce the effects of pool chemicals.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or acidic cleaners, as they can damage the protective layer of stainless steel, leading to 'tea staining'.

Hidden Services

HIDE Access Covers are the perfect solution for concealing external plumbing service points, offering a sleek and seamless finish that blends effortlessly with your surrounding surfaces. By incorporating your chosen inlay material, HIDE Covers eliminate the visual disruption of traditional access points, creating a clean and sophisticated look.

Two precision components. One seamless result.

The Edge Protector frames the opening, creating a fixed, level surround that becomes part of your deck structure. The Inlay Cover nests inside it — your timber boards carry straight through, flush to the finish. No visible frame. No height variation. Just a continuous surface.

A) Product Order Code

The product order code of a HIDE Kit represents the product, size and depth. For instance, the HAC206-20 is a HIDE Access Cover, 206mm square and suits infill materials 15mm to 22mm in thickness. (20mm nominal)

B) Material Depth

Choosing the right HIDE Kit starts with knowing the depth of your chosen material to be infilled into the cover.

From the Material Depth column (B), choose a HIDE Kit that will suit the thickness of your material.

C) Infill Cover Size

The HIDE Infill Cover securely holds your chosen surface material for a seamless finish. It lifts easily to provide discreet access to the concealed service points. See the installation instructions for more technical detail.

D) Infill Cover Internal Depth

This is the internal depth of the removable lid. Choose your kit by the thickness of the material going into it — the published material range for each depth already allows room for the supplied adhesive, so you don't need to add anything for it yourself (as per the installation instructions.

If your material sits low in its range, pack it up inside the lid with the supplied adhesive and a shim, so the finished inlay sits flush with the top of the lid.

E) Frame Size

The Frame Size (E) refers to the overall external dimensions of the frame, which determine the total footprint of the kit. This measurement is used to calculate the required recess size in the surrounding surface. Note: Leave a 1-2 mm expansion gap around the frame, filled with flexible filler, to allow for seasonal expansion.

F) Frame External Depth

The frame’s External Depth is greater than that of the infill cover. This extra depth means the bedding or substrate beneath the frame must be recessed during installation to accommodate the frame’s profile. Correct preparation ensures the frame sits flush with the surrounding surface, providing a precise fit and maintaining the overall seamless finish of the HIDE Cover.

G) Frame Access Opening

The Access Opening is the clear opening within the frame that allows the skimmer basket and other components to pass through freely when the Infill Cover is removed. When selecting the correct kit, consider this dimension alongside the depth to ensure suitability.

Questions and Answers

What does inlay depth mean?

Inlay depth is the space available inside the HIDE lid for the selected surface material, adhesive and any required height adjustment.

The thickness of the surface material alone does not determine the required depth. The adhesive bed and finished surface level must also be considered before ordering.

How do I choose the correct Access Cover size?

Measure the clear service opening and the supporting area available around it.

The HIDE frame must completely cover the opening while remaining securely supported. Also check that the remaining clear opening will be large enough to inspect, remove or service the equipment underneath.

Review the relevant technical drawing before finalising the opening dimensions.

Can a HIDE Access Cover be installed into an existing finished area?

In many cases, yes, provided there is enough space around the opening to install and support the frame.

Retrofitting may require existing tile, stone, paving, decking or concrete to be carefully cut and removed. The area should be assessed by an experienced installer before the cover is ordered.

What can a HIDE Access Cover be used for?

HIDE Access Covers are suitable for concealing services such as:

  • Pool valves and plumbing
  • Water-level controls
  • Irrigation equipment
  • Inspection points
  • Clean-outs and junctions
  • Landscape-lighting equipment
  • General outdoor services

The selected cover must provide sufficient clear access to the equipment below.

Can a HIDE Access Cover be installed beside a Skimmer Cover?

Yes. Access Covers are commonly installed beside Skimmer Covers to conceal related services such as water-level controls, valves or plumbing connections.

Using the same surface material in both lids creates a consistent, coordinated finish across the pool surround.

What is a HIDE Access Cover?

A HIDE Access Cover conceals outdoor service and inspection points while keeping them accessible for future maintenance.

Tile, stone, paving, decking, artificial turf or another suitable surface material is installed into the stainless steel lid, allowing the access point to blend with the surrounding finish.

Can a HIDE Access Cover be used as a drain?

No. A HIDE Access Cover is designed primarily to conceal a service or inspection point.

Where surface water must enter the opening, use a purpose-designed HIDE Drain Cover with the required perimeter drainage clearanc
